My wife's Glock 42 was a huge disappointment to her. The accuracy was too much. He's a good shooter, so technique wasn't an issue. I tried shooting it and found the trigger to be extremely heavy with the standard Glock hard break. The break wasn't really a problem, but the pull was. According to forum posters, there seems to be a big difference in trigger pull from G42 to G42. Because the G42 has such a short sight radius, I found that the trigger was quite heavy and caused a lot of pull to the left or right as I tried to compensate for the strong pull. Not good. I can't tell you what the pull was, but I'm guessing it was close to 9 pounds or so. I researched the issue and found others recommending this trigger link on some Glock forums and decided to give it a try. Installation was quick (the YouTube videos were very helpful). WOW! What a difference! I believe the pull is about 4.5 lbs now and the accuracy is much better! My wife now shoots 10 rounds of 4" at 25 feet (Hand) whereas before she was shooting 10 rounds of 15" at 25 feet (Hand). Not bad for a small handgun that barely fits in the hand. Now I can find good groups. Next, I might invest in some magazine extenders for her so she can keep her pinky finger around the grip. Bottom Line: As advertised, this trigger link makes the trigger pull smooth and light. This little piece made a huge difference in his ability to shoot this little Glock accurately and now he wants to keep it! My disclaimer: While this part worked well for us, I can't promise it will work for you. Your mileage may vary.
In all my other Glocks I have used the ZEV brand link and I could feel the difference with the first pull of the trigger. The Ghost link did nothing. Pulling and resetting it was part of the factory. I will run 200 rounds through the gun and see if the part needs to be "coated". There is no change. I then put the Glock factory stock back on. Without any net profit, I would prefer to keep the corporate part. I am now ordering a ZEV plug.
This took my G42 from a 6.5# trigger to a 4#. Many will argue that your CCW should have a heavy trigger, but with a light handgun with such a heavy trigger it is not easy to stay on target and with a little .380 you have to finish shots on target. I installed Edge on tmy G34 & G19 and they both came in with 4# pulls. The Edge slot takes you to a manageable yet secure draw weight. There are others on the market, but anything less would have to be just to compete. Many advertise the OEM link minus 3.5# but it's actually a 4.5# link, the Edge takes you a bit lower.

This link improved the trigger pull. My gun is still new so I don't think it's 3.5 pounds yet. Maybe after more rounds through the gun since I only shot it about 200 times. It's better than the factory link until you pull it and reset. Installation is pretty easy as long as you have the Glock style pin bore. Lots of YouTube videos showing how this is done. The slide lock is a little tricky to release the front pin, but pushing it into the frame towards the pin will release it as you apply some pressure to the pin on the left side. I recommend this link.
The Ghost Edge clip for the Glock 42/43 is easy to install for anyone with the correct bore size (or the Glock Armorer's Tool) and either experience armoring a Glock pistol or studies any of the countless video tutorials online. When fired, my G42 and G43 triggers were about 8 pounds, which made controlling these very compact pistols difficult. After installing the Edge clip, the trigger pull was reduced to a manageable 5 pounds. and without the heavy lift of the factory trigger. I highly recommend it to all G42 and 43 users.
