My wife's Glock 42 was a huge disappointment to her. The accuracy was too much. He's a good shooter, so technique wasn't an issue. I tried shooting it and found the trigger to be extremely heavy with the standard Glock hard break. The break wasn't really a problem, but the pull was. According to forum posters, there seems to be a big difference in trigger pull from G42 to G42. Because the G42 has such a short sight radius, I found that the trigger was quite heavy and caused a lot of pull to the left or right as I tried to compensate for the strong pull. Not good. I can't tell you what the pull was, but I'm guessing it was close to 9 pounds or so. I researched the issue and found others recommending this trigger link on some Glock forums and decided to give it a try. Installation was quick (the YouTube videos were very helpful). WOW! What a difference! I believe the pull is about 4.5 lbs now and the accuracy is much better! My wife now shoots 10 rounds of 4" at 25 feet (Hand) whereas before she was shooting 10 rounds of 15" at 25 feet (Hand). Not bad for a small handgun that barely fits in the hand. Now I can find good groups. Next, I might invest in some magazine extenders for her so she can keep her pinky finger around the grip. Bottom Line: As advertised, this trigger link makes the trigger pull smooth and light. This little piece made a huge difference in his ability to shoot this little Glock accurately and now he wants to keep it! My disclaimer: While this part worked well for us, I can't promise it will work for you. Your mileage may vary.

Many will argue that your CCW should have a heavy trigger, but with a light handgun with such a heavy trigger it is not easy to stay on target and with a little .380 you have to finish shots on target. I installed Edge on tmy G34 & G19 and they both came in with 4# pulls. The Edge slot takes you to a manageable yet secure draw weight. There are others on the market, but anything less would have to be just to compete. Many advertise the OEM link minus 3.5# but it's actually a 4.5# link, the Edge takes you a bit lower.

It's better than the factory link until you pull it and reset. Installation is pretty easy as long as you have the Glock style pin bore. Lots of YouTube videos showing how this is done. The slide lock is a little tricky to release the front pin, but pushing it into the frame towards the pin will release it as you apply some pressure to the pin on the left side. Glock 43x Gen 5 Review - The Glock 43 was a significant change in the Glock product line when it was released. With a single-stack magazine instead of Glock's usual double-stack, the 43 aimed to be more concealable than Glock's previous subcompacts, such as the Glock 26. Full-size models to accommodate the same magazines as larger Glock models.

But the switch to single stack meant Glock had to make an entirely new frame and slide, a significant investment for a single pistol. With the Glock 43X, Glock appears to be building an entire family of single-barreled pistols based on the Glock 43.
